2002 Yamaha Yzf-R1 , super clean all white looks great great starter bike but it is super fast. Lots of extras to many to list Upgraded brakes, intake, super lightweight sprocket, racetech front fork springs, hid light kit, kevlar racing clutch fairings all good rear tail has crack underneath from stepping on it working on stuff while back, but cant notice it unless from bottom Tires are good still meaty for another season or two Everything works great lights brakes suspension etc. Trans & engine are sharp feel new smooth as ever Good starter or daily bike for someone I never use it because of work schedule working nights so someone can actually get use out of her. Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.

Monster Yamaha Tech3 Garage Catches Fire at Circuit of the Americas
Thu, 18 Apr 2013The Tech3 MotoGP team put the Circuit of the Americas‘ emergency systems to the test after a small fire broke out in the team’s garage. Tech3 says the fire should not affect its participation in this weekend’s Grand Prix of the Americas race. The fire, which ignited some time overnight, was quickly doused by COTA‘s sprinkler system.
