Up for auction is my 2011 yz450fa. I purchased it new in 2012. Adult owned, and in great condition. I had a back injury on an ATV in 2010, and decided to switch to a bike. I absolutely love to ride it, but have realized it is too much for me, and I hate to see it sit. I have never raced it. It's only been in the dunes a few times, and otherwise ridden in trails. Time meter only has 15.4 hours. This is a fuel injected bike. Bid with confidence. Comes with hand gaurds and engine rock deflector. I will deliver within 50 miles of 49107, otherwise local pick up only. Only if buy it now is met, I will include a Big Gun slip on exhaust, complete rear wheel assembly with Sand Snake paddle tire (only used twice), chain used in sand, and bike stand. Wed, 11 Sep 2013The brief I gave to my girlfriend before packing for our little California road-trip was simple: “No hair straighteners, no high-heels and no hand bags!” So, I had to honour the whole ‘packing light’ thing too ...or risk a week of abuse. I picked up these shoes as I thought they’d double as decent riding gear for the Yamaha XVS650 and Ducati Diavel we had lined up but they also looked perfect for wearing with jeans when we’d dumped the bike and were heading out to explore the sights. They don’t feature any ‘real’ armour but they are made from a tough yet flexible canvas and they feature additional protection around the ankle.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
2015 Yamaha XC155 Scooter Gets CARB Approval
Thu, 28 Aug 2014The Honda PCX150 may be getting some new competition, as the California Air Resource Board granted an executive order certifying the 155cc Yamaha XC155 scooter. Available in Asian markets last August under the names Majesty S and SMax. Sporting a fuel-injected 155cc liquid-cooled four-valve Single, the XC155 inherits the styling of larger Yamaha scooters including the 395cc Majesty that was part of the company’s U.S.
