Hi craigslist i am selling my 2001 Yamaha yz 125 for $1500 negotiable . I have had the bike for over 5 yrs and rebuilt it three times including last week. The bike has almost and hour on the new motor which replaced the crankshaft/assembly, all seals, head bolts, piston/rings. This year i recently had the cylinder sent out to get re plated so the bike has lots of life left.Also never raced just kept these plastics on because the monster graphics and color.Selling because i want to buy a four stroke in the future, great bike for someone still into the 2 strokes.no rust,no leaks, all fluids just done Septemeber 15th, wheelies in gears 1-6 BIKE RUNS AMAZING SEE FOR YOURSELF! plenty extra parts/plasticscall/text Joe if interested. Japan Needs Your Help
Thu, 17 Mar 2011By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
Honda and Yamaha Pledge Support to Typhoon Victims in Philippines
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Honda and Yamaha each offered aid to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines earlier this month. Initial estimates put the death tool at over 10,000 but Philippine President Benigno Aquino says the actual number maybe closer to 2,500. Still, the United Nations says more than 11 million people were affected by the typhoon, with about 673,000 displaced from their homes.
