1985 Yamaha YZ250 that has undergone a complete restoration that is ready to ride or show.
The motor was rebuilt with everything inspected and replaced if needed. A fresh top end was installed that has no time on it other then heat cycles. It has DG "works" style pipe with factory aluminum silencer. All suspension and wheel bearings have been inspected replaced cleaned and greased. The bike has brand new side covers and radiator shrouds. New OEM style seat cover, along with new OEM style full tank graphics. Bike runs and looks good. It will come with a Bill of Sale. It has no warranty or guarantees of any kind. Sold as is. Full payment must be received with 7 days after listing ends. Mon, 05 May 2014With the AMA Supercross season now over, the American Motorcyclist Association congratulates the three riders who claimed AMA No. 1 plates during the 2014 AMA Supercross season — Ryan Villopoto, 450SX champion; Justin Bogle, 250SX East champion; and Jason Anderson, 250SX West champion. Ryan Villopoto, from Seattle, Wash., locked up his fourth straight AMA Supercross premier class title in the series’ penultimate round, clinching at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
