Yamaha YZ tech info
Yamaha YZ description
Up for Auction is 1983 Yamaha YZ490 I bought this bike two months ago and was planning on restoring it but plans have changed. I need to sell some bikes to make room in the garage for my 340 Duster. It ran good when I bought the bike but it was Hard to start maybe a carb problem they have that reputation. I have a bunch of new parts that go with the bike you will see them in the pictures..I have new pro taper bars, seat foam and cover, rear sprocket front brake cable, and a new plastic kit, and clutch plates. The old plastic will go with the bike also. The old owner told me the suspension link was rebuilt and the swing arm is tight and has no play. I almost forgot the bike does also have a DG pipe on it too. I do not except pay pal sorry. Payment on pick up or send me a post office type money order or a cashiers check that must clear bank before pickup. Remember don't bid on bike if you don't plan on paying for it. Bidders with 0 feedback will be blocked. I have been burned before. If you have any questions you can call me at 412-335-3415. Thanks and good luck bidding.

Mon, 12 Mar 2012James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.

You. Call. That. Lean
Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
