Up for auction is a 1981 Yamaha yz465 I bought this bike 2 months ago with the intension of restoring it but plans have change. The bike is pretty much complete it does not run this is the way I bought the bike and I never did anything with it. I have some parts that go with it they are pictured. I have a Manual, wheel bearings, empty wiseco piston box and small misc parts. The owner before me bought a plastic kit for it, and its supposed to have a new piston in the motor I cant confirm but the box is there and it has very good compression. The rims are straight and the forks have no pitting on the chrome overall the bike is in decent shape for its age. There is no title for this bike. Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees
Wed, 03 Jul 2013The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.
