Yamaha YCS1 180 description

1967 Yamaha YCS1 Bonanza (180 cc) with only 2257 miles.  Clear Ohio Title in my name.

We recently acquired a collection of vintage 2 stroke Yamaha's from a collector. This is a very nice example, great to enjoy or show.  Only 2257 miles, and in good running condition. Starts very easily and runs nice.  Electric start is in good working condition, as is the kickstart.  Sounds great with that nice crisp 2 stroke exhaust note.

Original paint, chrome, & seat in nice condition (and the original dealers decal on left side cover is a nice touch). Engine is clean and looks nice.  Exhaust is nice, with baffles installed and intact.   Gas tank is very clean inside, looks almost new.  We have ultrasonic cleaned the carburetors, adjusted float levels, air mixture screws, and idle stops to factory specifications. Verified the oil pump was adjusted properly. Ignition point gaps were adjusted and timing set to factory settings. Gearbox was drained and refilled with Bel-Ray 10w40 motorcycle oil, and a new battery installed. The bike starts easily and holds a nice idle.

If you've been looking for a nice original Vintage Japanese Motorcycle to enjoy or take to shows, this one would be a great candidate.  This is a numbers matching bike. Clear title in my name, with no salvage history, and actual mileage.

We are a licensed motor vehicle dealer with the State of Ohio. We are required to collect sales tax from Ohio residents, and also residents of MI, IN, MA, SC, FL, AZ, CA, and WA.

Temp tag + title will cost $43.50 added to final bid.  We will take care of all paperwork for you.  Out of State and International bidders welcome !!

Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season

Thu, 22 Oct 2009

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.

Ienatsch, Hill, Russell, Bestwick To Give Speech At Yale Today

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

In what might be considered the most shocking news of 2014 so far, Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill are going to Yale. While some might think the Chief and Lead instructors at the newly revamped Yamaha Champions Riding School are getting in over their heads, the two are at Yale as lead presenters for “Excellence In Motion: What Motorcycle Racing Can Teach Us About Success,” which begins at 4pm (local time) today.  When put into context, their appearance at one of the nation’s top schools is understandable. Each has had their fair share of success aboard motorcycles, and they will be joined by two more champions on two-wheels, five-time Daytona 200 winner and 1993 World Superbike Champion Scott Russell, and Jamie Bestwick, an avid motorcyclist and winner of eight consecutive X-Games BMX Vert gold medals.

Baby Yamaha SR125

Tue, 23 Dec 2014

For two months, the mechanics managed to turn the "ugly duckling" born in 1989 into a masterpiece. A new subframe and seat were made for the motorcycle, a Renthal handlebar and branded CRD controls were installed. The engine has been completely restored, the crankcase covers are sanded and varnished.
