Up for sale is this 1981 Yamaha well known as XS Eleven. The bike is in pretty good condition for its year and mileage. It is the rare Venturer model which came with "original custom" Aero fairings made by Pacifico. Motorcycle comes with 44,304 miles on. It has been standing for a long time but i have been able to start it but looks like some of the main jets are stuck in an open position so it over-floats the carbs. It needs a good cleaning and it will run like a champ..All of the saddle bags and fairings are intact but the color is faded. Also the back Storage compartment is broken. The racing was exciting, going off without a hitch, and the weather was unseasonably kind, but the meeting will be remembered by those in the fairly close knit WSB paddock for reasons other than the temperature or the race results. It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.
