1978 Yamaha XS650 Cafe Racer. This bike has been completely rebuilt by myself and FederalMotoUS. 6 months ago the bike was completely taken down to the frame in which a lot of pieces were powdercoated black. The top end was rebuilt (new piston rings, new o rings) because why not if you have the motor out of the bike? Runs and drives very nice and is super loud and fun.

Parts list is as follows:
- Hughs Handbuilt Motor Mounts
- Hughs Handbuilt PMA system
- Reg/Rectifier Combo
- All new electrical
- New manifold boots and carb boots
- New brake pads
- All brand-new electrical system
- Custom seat and seat pan
- Pamco Highoutput Ignition System
- Engine dress up kit
- Carburator rebuild (gaskets, all new jets, synced and tuned)
- Also have brand new master cylinder that I have not installed yet.
- New bullet style taillights
- Rear brake light switch
- Bike does not have horn, turn signals, or mirrors.

Keep in mind this is a 38 year old bike with a  carburetor. These bikes certainly take time and maintenance. This bike is being sold as is with no warranty. I am accurately describing the bike as is to my knowledge. Once sold, it's yours. Call or email me with any questions vmocci2@uic.edu or six 3 0 five four 4 four five 9 5.

Buyer is responsible for pick-up or delivery. If delivered, I know a company that can do it.

The Diavel rocks!

Thu, 21 Jul 2011

The Diavel is my new bike of the year. Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.
