PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD! Thank you. 1978 Yamaha XS 650 custom Bobber. You can put the shocks and Cafe' seat back on it and make it a Cafe' if you want. The seat and shocks come with the bike or just ride her like she is as a Bobber. Swapping it takes about 20 minutes. Thats it. Its like getting two bikes for the price of one! You will have a very hard time finding one this nice. Disc in the front and rear, progressive shocks (when Cafe') hardtail struts when not. New tires, new battery, new air filters, new clutch, rebuilt carbs. Way to much to list. It needs a minor cleaning from sitting in the garage. It has only been ridden about 500 miles since it was built. Always stored in the garage. Starts right up and runs good. NO LEAKS! NO SMOKE! NO NOISES! Take a good look at the pictures and email me if you have a question. AGAIN TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PICTURES. The paint is not perfect. You can zoom in etc to get a good look. NO PAYPAL. Priced at only £79.95, delivered, the Slash Cut Trim easily bolts on with its supplied mounting clamp and spring to the catalytic converter in place of the heavy standard exit pipes on Yamaha’s R6 (2006-2011) and Suzuki’s GSX-R600/750 (K8, K9, L0). With the main aim of reducing weight and improving aesthetics on these machines, the Slash Cut Trim does give a marginal increase of throttle response and exhaust note.
Yamaha to Open Plant in Pakistan
Thu, 04 Aug 2011Yamaha is reportedly planning to open a new manufacturing facility in Pakistan. According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Yamaha would invest $150 million in the new 50 acre facility, to be located in Karachi, Pakistan’s main seaport and financial hub. The plant would produce motorcycles for the Pakistani market, as well as models to be exported to other Commonwealth of Independent States nations.
Yamaha Reports 2013 Sales Results
Wed, 12 Feb 2014Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.
