Low miles about 8100 and in good condition, clean and not weathered. Just back from the shop with new tires, chain, sprocket, oil & filter, tune up and had both wheels trued and much more.Carburator was rebuilt a little over a year ago because the bike had sat for awhile. Battery is about 11/2 yrs old. Great gas mileage 70+MILES-PER-GALLON, great around town and fun commuter. Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
Yamaha Reports Q3 2012 Results
Tue, 06 Nov 2012Yamaha‘s North American sales were up over the first nine months of 2012, representing the lone bright spot in the company’s third quarter report. North American consumers purchased 51,000 Yamaha motorcycles (including scooters and ATVs), for a 13.3% increase from the 45,000 units sold in the opening nine months of 2011. North American sales translated into 30.7 million yen (US$382 million) in revenue for Yamaha, a 15.0% increase from the first three quarters of 2011.
