1983 Yamaha Venture. The bike pops out of second gear. It is still a rideable bike as is by just shifting from 1st into 3rd. The bike starts easily and runs well. All functions work except for the horn. The rear tire is worn and needs to be replaced. The radio does not work. The title is clear. It is in the name of a previous owner. Has a good battery. Does not leak any fluids. The owners manual is included. May be picked up near Green Bay,WI. I can assist a shipper at my location. Any shipping related costs are the buyers responsibility.

Yamaha Motor Co. announced Monday that it is cutting the ringers from its company rugby team. The Yamaha Jubilo rugby club competes in the Top League, the highest level Japanese Rugby Football Union pro league.  The team currently sits fifth out of 14 teams with a 3-2-2 record with a roster of 17 professional players including nine non-Japanese imports.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
