This Yamaha VStar 950 is a one owner bike purchased new in 2009, it has been well maintained and garage kept. The bike will include a new padded sissy bar (not shown), and a new battery. The bike has not been dropped or laid down and is in excellent condition. The paint is extremely good with no chips or scratches and the chrome is bright and scratch free. Powered by a 942cc v-twin engine with a 5-speed transmission, the VStar puts out around 50hp at 5600rpm, and 58ft-lbs of torque at 3500rpm. It has a seat height of 26.5", and a dry weight of 612lbs. Yamaha Building New Factory in India
Mon, 14 May 2012Yamaha has received approval from the government of India to build a new factory in Chennai in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Joining an existing factory near New Delhi, the new Chennai plant is expected to increase Yamaha‘s production capabilities in India to 2.8 million units a year by 2018. The new factory will be built on a 109-acre lot in Vallam Vadagal on the outskirts of Chennai.
Jorge Lorenzo Gets His Motorcycle License
Thu, 08 Mar 20122010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has earned his A2 Spanish motorcycle license. Last month, we learned Lorenzo was practicing for the test on a Yamaha YB250R motorcycle, and now the Yamaha factory racer has completed the practical portion of the test. Here he is pictured with his riding teacher Xavi Vallejo (and wouldn’t it be cool to tell people you taught a MotoGP World Champion how to ride a motorcycle?).

Tue, 01 May 2012I'm partial to a bit of origami and have been frustratingly screwing up paper trying to master Yamaha's paper craft series for a while now. Jack Chen from Australia has not only made a mockery of my model making failures, but he also made this version which is 40% smaller than a full-size Yamaha YZF-R1, out of cardboard.
