Yamaha V Star description

My 2005 V Star 1100 Classic is a Senior adult owned motorcycle. I purchased it new in March of 2007 from the local Yamaha dealer, and it was serviced under the extended Yamaha Warranty. This bike is completely stock and used locally only . Never been on a cross country trip, which is why the mileage is so low. It also comes with a factory heavy duty Yamaha cover, tool bag, and battery maintainer. When I bought the bike new, in 2007,  I insisted on a new battery and oil change /filter before I drove it away. The bike is always in the garage, also the gas is treated all year around to prevent the carbs from gumming up. The title shows me as the only owner of this ultra clean, never abused, never dropped motorcycle. I had a 1983 Yamaha Heritage 750 that I owned previously from brand new and a 1973 Honda 750 that I owned from new also. These bikes are still being driven as classics by their buyers. I had BSA motorcycles in the 1960's and a one and done Harley CHXL in 1965. I give you my bike resume to assure the buyer of this bike that it is in top condition and the driver of this bike is a very caring and experienced motorcycle rider.

2012 Piaggio X10 Maxi-Scooter with ABS, Traction Control and Electronic Suspension

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

The Piaggio X10 slipped a little under the radar at the 2011 EICMA show behind other maxi-scooters such as Yamaha’s T-Max, BMW’s C650GT and C600 Sport and Piaggio’s own Aprilia SRV850. But take a look at some of the features Piaggio’s slapped onto the X10 and you’ll soon learn it’s not to be underestimated. The new flagship of Piaggio’s “Gran Turismo” scooter family, the X10 is equipped with anti-lock brakes anti-slip regulation (i.e.

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Yamaha Motiv – A Car From The Tuning Fork Company

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

According to reports from the Tokyo Motor Show Yamaha has announced preliminary plans to produce the Motiv, a lightweight, two-seater similar to a Smart car. The Motiv is apparently based on Gordon Murray Design‘s T25 and T27 concept cars and will apparently use Murray’s iStream assembly process. Sources say the vehicle is targeted for the European market and will be available in both electric as well as fossil fuel versions.
