2002 Yamaha V-Star 650. 24K miles. it has custom paint(Orange with Red flames). gets average of 52MPG. front engine bar with highway pegs. New tires and Full service complete in July 2013.Vance & Hines pipes. Saddle bags(has a bad spot on right bag flap and smaller on left -does not hurt function- I live in the country and in the garage i didn't know gum was in the saddlebags, well, a mouse ate his way in, NO holes in the body of the bags, only on tops flap at the rear side), Runs great and has a chopper style to it but rides like a cruiser. their are a few blemishes in the paint.  text YAMAHA-EBAY  to recieve pictures of this bike via text message. 931-980-2164. The Diavel is my new bike of the year. Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.

CARB Documents Reveal Two Yamaha FJ-09 Models

The California Air Resources Board today released executive orders on two Yamaha models: the FJ09FCGY and FJ09FCR. Both to be based on the current FZ-09 engine and chassis (MT-09 in Europe). In March of this year, MO’s resident sleuth, Dennis Chung, revealed Yamaha filed a trademark application for the FJ09 name.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
