Yamaha V Max tech info
Yamaha V Max description
For sale is a very clean 1986 YAMAHA V MAX. It has nice tires, new brake rotors and pads, steering head bearings, lowered rear performance shocks and it tuned to the open exhaust. (It's loud but not too loud. Sounds good.)
The only noticeable flaw is on the painted air box cover. Small, but it's there. Other then that it is extremely clean. And it runs great. You will be proud to call this bike yours. Wed, 05 Mar 2014Finding sponsors for U.S. racing might be next to impossible, but this isn’t the case elsewhere, as Movistar, a telecommunications arm of Spanish company Telefonica, has signed on to be the title sponsor for the Factory Yamaha MotoGP team for the next five years. Short of the 20-year relationship between Honda and Repsol, this comes as one of the more significant sponsorship deals in recent memory.
Custom Motorcycle Inspired By…A Stove?
Wed, 05 Feb 2014The custom motorcycle scene is different in Indonesia. Just take this 1968 Yamaha XS650 for example. Built by Barata Dwiputra of Thrive Motorcycles, his inspiration came from a very unsuspecting source: wood-burning stoves.
Build your own Yamaha VMax
Tue, 15 Jun 2010For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.
