Air-cooled, 89cc, 4-stroke engine puts out smooth, reliable power perfectly suited to the smaller novice rider. Convenient electric start. A smooth-shifting, 3-speed transmission with automatic clutch (designed to ease the beginner into the basics of shifting) helps make riding simpler. CD ignition system delivers hot, reliable spark and requires minimal maintenance. A low, 24.6 seat height provides handling-enhancing low center-of-gravity and allows most riders to put both feet down for added confidence.

Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.

Either way, Randy Scott, 26, was found not guilty of a Trans-Canada Highway run at 299 km/h in April 2012. The viral YouTube video of a Yamaha R1 rider weaving in and out of traffic was used by police to track down Scott with the help of a concerned neighbor’s tip.

Thu, 31 Mar 2011We know the sun always shines on the righteous and that’s exactly what happened last weekend at Donington Park. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.
