Yamaha Royal Star description

A very nice touring motorcycle in very good condition. It was sold, but then became unsold due to lack of funds. I've taken this bike on several long trips and found it to be extremely stable and comfortable for both solo and two-up riding. I've ridden it from North Carolina to Michigan and from Michigan to New York City twice. I've actually ridden it in all five boroughs of NYC. It has cruise control, generous saddle bags, and lots of extra chrome. Well maintained. Everything works perfectly. There is one 2-inch seam tear on the driver's seat, probably repairable, but I can't guarantee it. 30,000 miles. (These Royal Stars will easily go over 100,000 miles.) Ryan Villopoto has captured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship with a dominating performance at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer took the lead early in the race after passing holeshot-taker Davi Millsaps on the opening lap. Villopoto would lead the rest of the way for his eighth win of the season.

Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha

Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.
