Yamaha Roadliner tech info
Yamaha Roadliner description
2012 YAMAHA ROADLINER S, BIGGER REALLY IS BETTER And it's hard to argue with 113 of them. Our biggest V-twin is also our boldest, with a highly advanced fuel-injected engine producing peak torque at only 2,500 rpm. And an aluminum frame for the kind of solid, precise handling nothing else in its class can touch. The Roadliner S gets chrome switchgear, front brake and clutch master cylinders and levers, belt guard, fork and fork covers, handlebar clamps, shifter, front pulley cover, various engine covers, rear fender stay and polished wheels. Available from February 2012 (CA from March 2012)

Thu, 31 May 2012Don’t miss the annual MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship visit to Knockhill as the title fight reaches Scotland for the fifth round of the season on 22/23/24 June. We have teamed up with the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki team to offer one lucky winner the chance to win a pair of tickets to the event. The Fife circuit always produces fast and frantic action and with the new technical regulations this season making a more even playing field for 2012 expect to see a brace of new contenders lining up to steal Tommy Hill’s championship crown.
Yamaha will give a third wheel to its scooter
Sun, 05 May 2019The Japanese did not have enough unusual Niken bikes so they patented the design of a new 3-wheeler scooter. The device will probably be called the Tricity 300 and will presumably be powered by a 292cc engine from the 28hp XMax 300 maxi-scooter. We're looking forward to the debut of the production version at the end of the year at EICMA.
An Island tour with a legend
Fri, 17 Sep 2010What you are watching is a highlight of Mike Hailwood's segment from the racing documentary Take it to the Limit - A Motorcycle Odyssey. The Yamaha - built by the extraordinary Kel Carruthers - that Hailwood is riding in the clip featured a unique frame with the camera housed within. The voice-over recording provided by Hailwood was done by taping a small mic to the bottom of his lip so he could dictate his guide to the 37.73 mile route.
