Yamaha Road Star description

2006 Yamaha Road Star Silverado, 2006 Yamaha Road Star Silverado - STAR TO THE HIGHWAYS. Bags and a windshield alone dont make a cruiser ready for the open road. The legendary heart of a Road Star, on the other hand, does. The Road Star Silverado rumbled onto the scene in 1998, and its already legendary for its sheer size, retro styling and sheer power. A massive 1,670cc V-twin delivers impressive torque and the kind of cruising performance you only get from a Yamaha. And with wide, rubber-mounted handlebars, a touring seat geared to all-day riding, and roomy soft saddlebags, youre ready for the long-haul. Pure power. Uncompromised comfort. And its dangerously close to being too damn beautiful to ride. Simply legendary. 3-Day no Questions Asked Money Back Guarantee on all Certified used motorcycles purchased! Click here to learn more! Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.
