Yamaha Road Star description

2006 Yamaha Road Star 1700, This bike was bought off the show room floor and is in new condition. It has braided brake lines, a suicide seat, bologna cut pipes, a wind screen, leather saddle bags, and all of the original parts that go with it. There has only been one owner and no accidents or tickets associated with it. Between work, family, and college I don't have the time or finances to keep this motorcycle and I want it to go to a great owner that will have the time to go and ride it the way its meant to be. I am asking $5500 or best offer. If you are interested I also have a bike cover, stock seats, stock pipes, 6 helmets in varying sizes and styles, and a 3X riding jacket with zip in/out liners and built in Kevlar for protection that has been customized with a Silver/grey toned Yamaha Patch that reflects to make you more visible at any time of day or night. $5,500.00 5093088753

Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.

R1 noise, bike porn and a quick lap

Tue, 24 Apr 2012

Trawling the internet for a sound clip of the Crossplane Crank Yamaha R1 on full chatter, I came across this: a few fast laps on board with New Zealand Superbike racer Tony Rees as he works the CABS Throttle Blipper on his 2011 R1. (Skip to 7:35 for the fast ones.) CABS is a system used by Superbike teams that makes use of the R1’s digitally controlled throttle. When you change up a gear, the bike blips in the perfect amount of revs to save time on track and make downshifts as quick and easy as clutch-less upshifts.
