2003 Yamaha Road Star Warrior - original owner, runs great.
The comfort of a cruiser, the style of a custom street rod, and handling of a sport tourer. I bought this bike new in March of 2003. It has always been maintained to Yamaha standards & intervals. The RS Warrior, and specifically the Yamaha large V-twins are known for being some of the longest-lasting bikes on the road, with 200,000 miles not being uncommon. The Road Star Warrior takes the cruiser's low-end muscle and combines it with the handling and maneuverability of a larger sport bike. In fact, the suspension is derived from Yamaha's championship-bred YZF-R1, and the engine is wrapped in a high-tech aluminum chassis. The Road Star Warrior offers a significant level of power and performance. It is not intended for novice or inexperienced riders. New rear tire, new starter, belt recently replaced, registered through March of 2017. This bike is stock, except for the T-bars, some cover upgrades, and the extended passenger pegs. The Sept. 5, 1993 crash at the circuit then-known as the Circuito Internazionale Santamonica brought a sudden end to what had been an incredibly successful Grand Prix racing career.

Fri, 07 Dec 2012Back in September, Yamaha revealed a special “Race Blu” livery for a the YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and the YZF-R125 for the European market. Yamaha promoted the new color scheme with Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies sporting the colors on their leathers and M1 race bikes at the Misano and Aragon MotoGP rounds. North American consumers were left out, however, getting a Team Yamaha Blue and White version instead for the R1 and R6 (the R125 isn’t offered here either).
