Yamaha Raider description

We are a Ford and Chrysler dealership in Southwest Wisconsin and we took this beautiful bike in on trade earlier this summer. Its a clean bike with very low miles and was well taken care of. It has only 3500 miles on it and spent most of its life in a heated garage, the previous owner traded it in because he never rode it and needed a family vehicle. There is nothing mechanically wrong with it but there is a little mark on the upper exhaust pipe that could easily be rubbed out, I noticed it taking the pictures. The engine is a 1900cc V-Star and it runs flawlessly not to mention sounds amazing. The transmission shifts smooth and the suspension is soft and perfect for riding alone or with a special someone. This bike has a lot of power and is a great cruiser you won't be disappointed, but more than likely astonished that a person could have so much fun for so little money. We currently have this bike for sale here in our showroom so the auction could be ended early at any time due to a local sale, so bid now and make it your own. There is NO RESERVE on this auction, it WILL sell to the highest bidder. If you don't intend on owning this bike please only enjoy the pictures as we are wanting to sell the bike. The retail value on this bike is over $10,000 and we are starting it much less to make someone a great once in a life time deal. If you have any questions or to schedule to see it please call our sales manager, Ryan at (608) 326-8400 he is eagerly waiting to tell you all about this awesome motorcycle. All tax, title and license fees will apply, please call with any questions. Thanks for looking, and remember, you can't win it if you don't bid.

Monster Energy Track Day of Legends with Schumacher, McGuinness, Espargaro and Flint – Video

Tue, 18 Dec 2012

Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s  Hottrax Endurance Championship.

Ben Bostrom Events

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
