Yamaha Other description

This is a CT-1 Yamaha, two stroke, 175cc enduro. 

It is not currently street legal, wiring harness exists, just no lights. There is no speedometer so I can't tell you how many miles are on it.  There is also no title.

Runs well (see video link below), mostly original parts, well loved, total enjoyment bike for the summer!

This bike could easily be for family fun while out camping or it could be someone's next big restoration project.

  • Has a battery replacement system.
  • Unsure on the oil injector system, used premix to get it running
  • Since the bike is not street legal, there is no title.  
  • Unsure of mileage, there is no speedometer.


The bike belonged to my father as a restoration project but mostly just sat in his garage for 15+ years. He took it out now and then to ride up and down the street.

EICMA 2013: Yamaha Reveals the Tricity

Today, at the EICMA 2013 show, Yamaha unveiled what it is calling a new direction in its urban commuter category. The Tricity is a LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) scooter aimed at folks who previously may not have considered a two-wheeled alternatives to public transportation. 2013 Yamaha XT250 Receives Fuel Injection

The Yamaha XT250 dual sport is getting a fuel injection system for the 2013 model year, replacing the previous model’s 33mm Teikei carburetor. Apart from fuel injection and new graphics, the only other changes are a new TCI ignition system in place of the 2012 model’s CDI ignition, and a slightly larger gas tank (2.6 gallons versus 2.4 gallons on last year’s model). The 249cc air-cooled SOHC engine and five-speed transmission remains unchanged.

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
