Yamaha Other description

1997 Yamaha Vmax XTC 600 3,301 actual miles, michigan clear/clean registration. Equipped as follows: 600 cc two stroke, liquid cooled, oil injected engine. Hand and thumb warmers. Studded, and plastic ski skin protectors. Condition as follows: I purchased this sled way back in march of 1999. It was a stolen/recovered unit that I purchased at an insurance pool auction. There never was anything wrong with the sled from day one. It appears to be in all original condition. I never recieved a key for the sled, and never opted to get one. There is a plug in connector behind the ingnition, that is unplugged, and the sled runs and operates perfectly with it being unplugged. I am shure if you need a key it would be no big deal to get 1 cut at any Yamaha dealer if needed. The only reason why I am selling the sled is because we never use it. I literally only put maybe 300 mis on it, in the last 14yrs. It has been a great sled, with no issues of any kind for me ever. It runs perfect, and is very quick, and would make somebody a nice sled. Cosmetically this 1 is about the cleanest 1 you will find for its age. There is just 1 cosmetic ding, in the metal of the lower left front ski trailing arm, that has been in there since day one. This sled will still keep up with most of the newer sleds, for a fraction of the cost! Call me direct at (586) 336-XXXX or email me for additional details. Think You’re a Smooth Rider? Yamaha’s SmartRiding App Will Prove It

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

Yamaha has released a new app that records and evaluates riding habits. The free Yamaha SmartRiding app (available now in the App store) uses the Apple devices sensors to measure basic telemetry to evaluate how smoothly you handle curves. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).

How To Rebuild a Yamaha R6 In Under A Minute + Video

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

If you’re new to the road racing scene, you might have heard the terms “Factory” and “Privateer.” For the casual observer, you’ll notice the difference between the two ultimately comes down to money and support, as one is likely working out of the back of their van while the other is supported by an 18-wheeler. This video, shot by the Y.E.S./Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team makes the line between the two sides clear as day. Watch as the Yamaha crew rebuilds Garrett Gerloff’s R6 from the frame up after a nasty crash with enough time to make the race.
