Yamaha Other description

2004 Yamaha Silverado 1100 , Beautiful, one owner, Yamaha V-star 1100 Silverado. Garage kept and owner maintained. Paint and chrome in excellent condition, and tires in good condition. New battery and oil/filter changed w/in 6 months. Roomy saddle bags and all other options like the windshield, engine guard, and passing lamps were added at the time of purchase by the dealer. Vance and Hines exhaust and high flow air cleaner were added by us. We have an alarm kit that can be re-installed on the bike as well as a cover (yes, I kept it garaged AND covered). The bike runs, but needs some carb work due to sitting for about 18 months while my wife was away at school. Price reduced $500.00 to $4900.00 to compensate for needed repairs. Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

Mark Miller To Ride For Vercarmoto In 2014 TT Zero

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

After finishing in fifth place with Chris McGahan in the SES TT Zero in 2013, Italian based Team Vercarmoto, who made their debut in the event in 2012, has announced that American Mark Miller will ride for them in the 2014 race. American Miller is seen as a specialist in the category and boasts a respectable track record in the Isle of Man TT Zero class with the runner up position in 2011 and 3rd place in 2012 to go with his 2010 race victory. The American is also one of only three riders to break the prestigious 100mph mark around the iconic 37.73 mile TT Mountain Course on an electric bike, a feat he achieved in the 2012 race.

California Superbike School 2-day Camp at Silverstone

Mon, 24 May 2010

California Superbike School will be running a 2-day camp at Silverstone for the first time in the UK this August, offering riders a chance to enjoy extra track time while improving their skills in the art of cornering. Taking place on the all-new South circuit (1.9 miles long with 12 turns) students can ride their own bike or hire a fully prepared 2010 Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop Sportsmart tyres and fuel included. Already hugely popular with students returning year after year, previously the 2-day camps have been held in Spain during the spring.
