1997 Yamaha Rt100 , This is an older bike but it's in great working condition. Starts up and runs great. Is in very good cosmetic condition and everything works like new. Has a 100cc 2 stroke, oil injected engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine has recently been professionally rebuilt, the cylinder is bored out to .050 and it has a new oversized .050 piston and rings. Also has new air filter, fuel lines, spark plug, gaskets, and carburetor rebuilt professionally. This bike would be a great beginner bike, it's fast but easy to ride and handles good. I'm the original owner and it has been taken care of and maintained regularly since I bought it. Comes with a matching helmet and original owner's manuals. Yamaha Wraps Up Sepang MotoGP Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Pre-season test lap times aren’t a precise barometer for how the 2012 MotoGP Championship season will go, but Yamaha has to feel good about its results after this week’s testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. Last February at Sepang, Honda riders were the talk of the preseason session, taking three of the top four lap times on each day of the test. That pattern repeated itself in the final championship standings with Casey Stoner taking the championship, Dani Pedrosa finishing third and Andrea Dovizioso fourth.
A breath of fresh air
Fri, 09 Nov 2012Dean Benstead's air-powered bike project, O2 Pursuit, which we spoke about a year ago, seems to have come along nicely since. Here's a video of the Australian's rotary air compression-engined Yamaha WR250R being taken out for a spin. Apparently it can hit 87 mph and cover more than 60 miles on a scuba-tankful's worth.
