1996 Yamaha Vmax 1200, For sale is my '96 V-Max (Yamaha VMX1200). This snarling beast is jetted, has a Kirker 4-into-1 pipe, many other upgrades. Recently serviced, and has a brand new Yuasa battery. The bike runs and sounds great. It's not in a showroom or museum condition, but it's dependable and very, very fast. Bike has 32,219 miles on it. Clean title. It's located in Coral Springs, garaged. Yamaha Motor Co. revealed what it calls its New Medium-term Management Plan, outlining its business strategies for 2013 to 2015, including the introduction of 250 new models worldwide across its various product lines including motorcycles. The three-year plan is an extension of Yamaha‘s plan for 2010-2012 which targets a “V-shaped recovery”.

Pierre Karsmakers, one of the first European motocross champions to bring his expertise to America, has been elected to the AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame Class of 2014. A three-time motocross champion in his native Holland, Karsmakers came to the United States to gain wider exposure and attract the attention of the Japanese motorcycle makers. “All the Japanese (sponsorship) contracts were going to Belgian riders,” Karsmakers said.
