Bike is in pieces as you can see from the pictures. I raced the bike for 3 seasons and took it apart to do a recommended valve job. I moved and got out of racing all together. I purchased a separate 600 engine that bolts right in, but never had the time to complete the project. Everything you see in picture is included, including rear stand. 600 engine has never been opened to elements and was from a running bike when purchased a few years ago. The original wiring harness in still intact, but I do not have the original body work or the lights to make it street legal. Frame is scuffed but straight Tires and Rims Hold Air Body Work needs TLC Bike is sold AS IS Winning bidder responsible for pick up and/or delivery of vehicle. Please contact me with any questions. Tue, 24 Nov 2009NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.

Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.
