I am offering my FJ for sale. I have 3 bikes and this one as starting to see less and less road time. It's a terrific bike and runs great. You can drive her home without any issues. She is a very fast bike, please look it up. 135hp+, about 10.5 second 1/4 mile [source: wiki]. The bike has been over 140+ without any buffeting or blowing around. I do not recommend this in any shape or form. This bike IS NOT for the beginner. She is a Sport Tourer but leans more towards tourer as comfort goes and sport and power & speed. This is a great all round bike, easy to work on and maintain yourself. No leaks. All instruments work, as they should. I have an Antique tag, so it saves on inspections & yearly fees. Check you local state for availability. Please remember, this is a 30 year old bike. I am not the original owner. She has normal wear and tear that involves 30 years of use. BUT with that being said, she shows beautifully and turns heads constantly as people are trying to figure out what she is. I have also had people walk up to me on rides and offer to buy her. . And no, I did not have any trouble keeping up with [or passing]  the new generation bikes.

In case your wondering, I have a Honda VT1300 Sabre & Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird and this bike is a cross between the two.

*** The price is set below pricing at value of a low mileage bike in great condition & all upgraded parts and spares. I do not need to sell, but I would rather send her to a good home to be ridden everyday.

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.

2009 Yamaha R1 Reviewed!

Tue, 20 Jan 2009

Get the Flash Player to see this player. After much speculation and anticipation regarding the 2009 YZF-R1, MO finally got some seat time in the recently updated numero uno. After hearing much about this new “Cross-plane crankshaft” technology, we were ready to write it off as media hype and PR propaganda, but it turns out that the Yamaha R1 has actually tightened the gap between MotoGP technology and street applications.

Ben Bostrom Events

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.
