I acquired this bike from the original owners 28 year old daughter who had registered and insured the bike and used it for local in town riding. She had the bike,serviced after it had sat for over 20 years, at the local dealer and used the bike for 1 and a half years and upgraded to a bigger bike. In the 1.5 years she told me she put over 1000 trouble free miles on it.
The bike has original 1904 miles and it shows well. Has always been indoors, and was originally won at a raffle at the local Yamaha dealer in 1983. Seems to be all original with the exception of the battery. Has one small dent in tank, no paint damage, , some nicks and scratches her and there to be expected of a 33 year old motorcycle. Not restored, a true daily rider, super economical rare bike. Top speed around 60 the way it is geared. Motor is interchangeable with the ysr50 yamaha so parts are readily available. Last registered and inspected in 2015. Current and transferable NYS Title. Email with any questions or to view BEFORE auction ends. EICMA 2013: Yamaha Reveals the Tricity

The Tricity is a LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) scooter aimed at folks who previously may not have considered a two-wheeled alternatives to public transportation.
