It started out life as a classic powerful XS650. Now it's a mean, low and comfortable chopper. It Rides smooth on the Michelin Marathon tires. Sounds great with the custom exhaust. From lengthened front forks to the strong custom rear swing arm, this bike is both beautiful and completely functional. Custom lowered frame Longer front fork tubes Stainless steel front brake line Custom high and low beam Custom gauges that are accurate Custom rear swing arm Custom rear subframe that has battery and regulator/rectifier enclosed Custom rear fender that protects from the large rear tire Custom forward controls that are nicely built and adjustable Custom tank that has been sealed Custom headers Custom mufflers with removable baffles Custom seat with professional foam and cover Custom rear turn signals built into the rear subframe Custom brake and running lights K&N style air filters New needles, seats, jets etc Longer control cables Custom front turn signals Comfortable passenger pegs that match the front pegs She starts right up and runs well. Brakes stop you quickly, and it handles remarkably well. The seat height is very low as is the center of gravity. It is geared very tall, (low highway RPM) as you can see from the small rear sprocket. The welds are strong and look good. It has a single small dent in the tank (pictured) and very few imperfections (scratches) on the tank. The mileage is what is reflected on the odometer. the front fender has 2 very small dings from a headlight that is no longer on the bike. I would help crate for a fee to be determined and agreed upon. Buyer is responsible for shipping, but I will help in any way I can. This bike is very nice. It has very minor imperfections. Yamaha Teases R25 / R3 and Tricity Reveal on March 25
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Yamaha released a new microsite teasing the launch of two models, expected to be the production versions of the YZF-R25 (or perhaps YZF-R3 for certain markets) and the Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter. Stoner explains the tank slapper
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

Wed, 20 Nov 2013After much anticipation, Yamaha has revealed its new R25 250cc sportbike at the 43rd annual Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. The manufacturer has long offered a 125cc model in India, and that’s where word surfaced of an impending 250cc model. We will have to wait a bit longer however, as the R25 at the Tokyo Motor Show is still just a prototype, meaning we should expect to see the production model for 2015.
