1972 Yamaha RT1 360 With a clear Ohio Title. Frame and engine numbers match. This bike has had all the lights and wiring stripped off and has been used for mild trail riding. The oil injection is blocked off and it is being premixed. The pump is still there. The best thing about this bike is the engine. It runs very strong. Move the kick start down and you know this is great motor. No hint of any bearing noise or feel and you can hear the reeds hum. Lots of compression. The clutch action is good but does slip some when you get on it. Probably has glazed clutch plates. Not a big deal. Inside of the tank is clean. This is a great bike to restore. Titled bike numbers matching with a sound power plant. Take a good look at the pictures. You can also call me with any questions you might have 440-346-6314 ask for Bob. Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
Yamaha Names Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to 2015 Dakar Team
Fri, 23 May 2014Yamaha has retained Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to race for its official factory team in the 2015 Dakar Rally. Pain and Metge will ride a new WR450F Rally currently being developed for the 2015 rally. Both riders raced for the Yamaha team in this year’s rally; Pain finished third overall behind KTM Red Bull team’s Marc Coma and Jordi Viladoms while Metge rode as a support rider for fourth-place finisher Cyril Despres.
Yard Built XV950 Pure Sports Channels the Yamaha FZ750
Tue, 29 Apr 2014The latest product Yamaha Motor Europe’s Yard Built custom specials is a Star Bolt transformed into a replica of an FZ750. Dubbed the XV950 Pure Sports after the words written on the original FZ750′s fairing, the project was produced by Italy’s LowRide magazine and Radikal Chopper and styling by Oberdan Bezzi. The Star Bolt – known in Europe as the XV950 – is nearly unrecognizable in this new guise, except for its 942cc V-Twin engine.
