Yamaha Other description

For sale is a very nice 1972 Yamaha CS5 vintage street bike. Absolutely everything works on this motorcycle, and it is a blast to ride. The bike is a 200cc 2-stroke twin. Similar to the Yamaha RD models, except the CS5 had electric start, and no reed blocks. It is oil injected, so no pre-mixing of fuel. The fuel tank is super clean, the petcock is brand new, the carburetor's were just professionally rebuilt, the tires are like new, the battery is new, and the fork seals were just replaced. The bike just received a complete professional tune-up, and runs like a top. This motorcycle has both kick, and electric start. This bike needs nothing to hit the street. It is currently safety inspected, and licensed, with a clear MO title in my name.  It is early in the model transition, so the engine and frame are still labeled CS3.  This was done by Yamaha, and is well documented.  The current registration matches the frame, as it should.  I am happy to send specific photos to serious bidders, at their request.  Please ask any and all questions that you may have about the Yamaha before bidding.  Payment from the winning bidder is due upon completion of the auction.  I accept cash and Paypal.  Thank you for looking, and good luck!

Thu, 23 Aug 2012

Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.
