2008 Yamaha Fz1 , I am selling my 2008 Yamaha FZ1 with 11,XXX miles on it. I am only the second owner this bike is clean, never been dropped. Lots of extras! All of the bulky blinkers and mirrors have been taken off and replaced with flush LED blinkers and a single mirror. It has a full system Graves Exhaust put on it with a Power Commander 3 USB under the seat, new Dunlop Sportmax tires with under 1000 miles on them, custom handlebars not sure what type. I am also selling a brand new Yamaha FZ1 cover with it and I also have the full original exhaust system and a rear wheel rolling lift for changing the oil. I am selling my bike because I don't have enough time to ride it and college is expensive, so no trade offers please. Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.

Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season

Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.
