Join MotoGP Stars In Saying Farewell To Colin Edwards In His Final USGP Appearance

This weekend’s Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix will be Colin Edwards’ final MotoGP race on American soil, and to commemorate the occasion, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., invites you to join a special “Farewell To The Texas Tornado” live event Saturday evening on the center stage at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Yamaha Reports 2013 Sales Results

Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.

Yamaha Becomes First Official OEM Partner of AIMExpo

Just in time for this weekend’s DealerExpo in Indianapolis, the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) announced today that Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA will use the event to introduce its 2014 products to the marketplace. Yamaha is the first official OEM partner of AIMExpo, a landmark step in the continued growth of the event, which is hoping to be a viable rival to DealerExpo as a powersports industry destination. Yamaha’s range of powersports products comprises both the Yamaha and Star motorcycle brands.
