Yamaha FJR description

2005 Yamaha Fjr1300 , I am selling my 2005 Yamaha FJR1300. It's a great Sport Touring motorcycle but I'm now ready for something different. As you can see it has been custom painted and there are about $6500 worth of upgrades that have been done. The bike was built as a project bike for a motorcycle magazine and the list of upgrades is below. I am officially the second owner but I bought the bike in Sept 2004 from the original owner with only 450 miles on the odometer (the power scared him...don't ask.). After the break-in period the bike has had the oil and filter changed every 3000 miles with synthetic oil being used exclusively. The bike currently has a little over 51k miles on it, runs like a top, doesn't leak or smoke and no ticking either. I'm only selling the bike as I've got the itch for something different and I want to use the funds from this bike to fund the new toy. OK so on to the upgrades: Bill Mayer Saddle - custom seat (very comfy) Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 fork kit (custom fork internals) HyperPro rear shock with remote high and low speed damping adjuster option Power Commander PC III USB EBC XC Series front rotors (brand new pads front and rear - less than 500 miles on them) Galfer stainless steel brake lines (front brakes) Superbrace fork brace Motovation frame sliders Muzzy 4-2-1 full exhaust (sounds wonderful) I've also done the airbox mod (increased airflow) and have a foam filter installed. I've also installed Gen1 FZ1 mirrors for improved view of what's behind you There is a Givi trunk that is silver but looks OK with the bike. And of course the custom paint which looks awesome in person. The bike isn't a show bike but it is a great running and great looking FJR - you'll get compliments everywhere you go. The bad things are as follows (there always has to be something wrong, right?) 1) The little glove box door in the left fairing doesn't work. The latch locked one day and I had to pry it open and then decided to just glue it shut since I couldn't get it to close. That was like 7 years ago and I just never got around to fixing it. 2) There is a fairing brace on the upper right corner close the frame that is missing. You can't see it as it goes under the bodywork and attaches to the frame but it is missing and you can see where the bolt is missing. You can call or text (text preferred as I may be at work) me at 321-27seven-three82eight or you can email me at the email link provided by Craigslist. I am asking $5800 obo but I am open to offers or to trading for a Jeep Wrangler (5spd with A/C only please). $5,800.00 3212273828
