2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 Sport/Touring Motorcycle This motorcycle has very low miles, garage kept with many extras. It has professionally installed Delkevic performance mufflers, the baffles are removable if you like louder pipes (I have the original Yamaha mufflers included as well). It has cruise control throttle for long distant rides, 1 1/2 inch handle bar riser for more comfort, an upgraded windshield that is about 2 inches higher than the factory windshield which provides more wind or rain protection while riding on the highway, a removable rear trunk with key, a custom Corbin seat with removable backrest and of course the removable side hard cases with nylon carrier insert bags for carrying your items! This is an adult driven motorcycle that rides perfect, everything works, no issues, no leaks, never down. I hate to let it go but I'm getting a new one, so this one needs a new home! This is a No Reserve Auction! The buyer must be responsible with shipping and handling but I will assist the shipping company when they come to pick it up. 2014 Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 Race Blu Unveiled
Fri, 30 Aug 2013With the MotoGP world championship in Donington Park this weekend, Yamaha took the opportunity to reveal the 2014 version of its M1-inspired Race Blu liveries along with the 2014 YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and other sportbikes. Before you read any farther, here’s the bad news. First, it does not appear as though either the R1 or the R6 received any other updates for 2014.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Wed, 06 Jun 2012I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.
