Here is a nice Yamaha FJ600 vintage sport bike, it runs very nice and rides great with very nice power. I am going to install new fork seals and steering head bearings and will have a full service. Tires are older but still good for a season of riding. I used to race one of these bikes and the later ones as well and a FZ750 5v these were amazing machines, wish I still had my 85 FZ750. Learn on track with Mackenzie and Whitham at Focused Events
Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.
2011 World Superbike Champion Carlos Checa
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Carlos Checa has won the 2011 World Superbike Championship and secured Ducati its 17th manufacturer title. The Althea Ducati rider secured the title with a win in Race One of the Oct. 2 Magny-Cours round in France, and then captured the manufacturer title with another win in Race Two.
