Yamaha FJ1100 tech info
Yamaha FJ1100 description
1985 YAMAHA FJ1100 This FJ is in need of a full restoration or can be used as a part bike. The bike has been sitting for many years. State inspection sticker is from 1990. The motor does run see the video below. The bike is completely stock. I do have a NOS front fender (silver color) and the lower valance. (see pictures) I try an do preservation's when I buy old bikes however I believe this one is a little too far gone for just that and could be just the candidate for a full restoration. The tank is rusted. The brakes and clutch reservoir will need to be rebuilt. The right side of the fairing has some damage and is cracked. The carbs will need to be completely rebuilt as well. I only cleaned them quickly to see if the bike runs. It does and sounds as it should. This bike is a running project bike. I have only listed some of the repairs needed. As I said assume the bike needs a complete restoration. It does come with the original tool kit and owners manual. It has a clean Pennsylvania title. This bike is AS-IS and not safe for the road in its current condition. If you have any questions please ask. If you need more pictures please ask. I do have a video of the engine running. (see below) Transportation is the buyers responsibility. Uship is a link provided by Ebay. Teppers Auto Sales is located at 220 East Union St West Chester, PA 19382. I can be reached at 484-639-3991 with any and all questions. |

Ienatsch, Hill, Russell, Bestwick To Give Speech At Yale Today
Thu, 30 Jan 2014In what might be considered the most shocking news of 2014 so far, Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill are going to Yale. While some might think the Chief and Lead instructors at the newly revamped Yamaha Champions Riding School are getting in over their heads, the two are at Yale as lead presenters for “Excellence In Motion: What Motorcycle Racing Can Teach Us About Success,” which begins at 4pm (local time) today. When put into context, their appearance at one of the nation’s top schools is understandable. Each has had their fair share of success aboard motorcycles, and they will be joined by two more champions on two-wheels, five-time Daytona 200 winner and 1993 World Superbike Champion Scott Russell, and Jamie Bestwick, an avid motorcyclist and winner of eight consecutive X-Games BMX Vert gold medals.

Recreate Rossi’s Corkscrew Pass on Stoner at Laguna Seca with Paper
Fri, 27 Dec 2013Valentino Rossi‘s career is full of many incredible moments but few are as indelible as the move he made to pass Casey Stoner on the 23rd lap of the 2008 U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca. The controversial cut through the famous Corkscrew was arguably the most dramatic moment of the 2008 MotoGP season (and ironically, recreated this year, with Marc Marquez turning the tables on Rossi).
