Yamaha CT 1 175 description

All original, complete bike. Except new chain, battery, fuel filter. Fuel tank cleaned no rust inside ,outside tank has minor scuffs and one small ding in front of Yamaha emblem on right side, hardly noticeable. Starts on 1 or 2 kicks, runs and shifts as it should. seat has no rips or tears. everything works except headlight probably just needs new bulb. All fluids drained and replaced. Tires hold air but will need to be replaced due to cracks in sidewalls. original tool kit. No title bill of sale only. 47 year old bike and show surface rust and wear, was in storage since 2002. Still bike looks and runs great for its age. will not ship, pick up only. I will assist loading on truck. $100.00 non refundable deposit due by paypal within 24 hours of purchase, remainder to be paid in cash upon pick up. Please ask any questins before bidding. Engine and frame have matching serial numbers.

It was with much excitement – displaced or not – that my freshly rebuilt 1976 SR500 Yamaha fired into life at the second kick this weekend. I say second kick. It was actually the thirty second kick – thirty of those spent frothing up a heady sweat until I realised the main fuel pipe was kinked to buggery.

50th Anniversary Yamaha Special Edition R1? Yes Please!

When Yamaha unveiled its 50th anniversary edition red and white livery for its M1 MotoGP machines in May, one question came immediately to mind: when can we get the special edition R1? The red and white design was created to celebrate Yamaha‘s 50th year in Grand Prix racing. Yamaha factory racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies debuted the livery at the Assen round in June, which saw the American Spies nab his first a career MotoGP win.

2014 Yamaha MT-09 Street Tracker Revealed

Yamaha Motor Europe has announced another variant on the MT-09 platform (FZ-09 for us in North America). Following the original model and the Street Rally comes the new Yamaha MT-09 Street Tracker. Unfortunately it looks like the Street Tracker will be a special edition variant only available in Europe, though many of the parts may be available in Yamaha’s part catalog.
