Vincent All description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION! I'M NOT AN EXPERT IN ANY AREA. EVERYTHING SOLD AS IS. I do not pre-pack my items so shipping estimates may be high. I will refund the majority of the difference if my shipping estimates are wrong. I almost always ship items out 1 or 2 days after payment is received. I ship USPS first class, priority, media mail(when applicable).I do combine shipping.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING- I ship USPS first class and priority. First class has a 4 pound max. Anything higher must go priority. Any item that is bid on and won (or a combination of items) with a value of over $20 USD (including the cost of shipping) will be required to be shipped priority or first class with registered mail added. Registered mail starts at $10.95 on top of shipping. I will have to pack item or items and and give you an estimate including registered mail after. If you pay before I add registered mail costs I WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL YOU PAY THE ADDITIONAL COSTS! This is because I am having packages disappearing (I prefer to say stolen) when shipped first class without registered mail because first class has no tracking without registering.

Up for bid is an antique stereoview.

Item with some wear and creases. A little dirty. Curved. Measure about 7" x 3 1/2".

If you have any questions or would like more pictures, feel free to ask.

Thanks and good luck on your bidding!

Will accept offers of $1.00 on items listed at $5.00 or less when making offers on ten or more items!

Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Behind the “Bathing Suit” Picture

Fri, 09 Jan 2009

Few motorcycle photographs are as iconic as that of the famous Bonneville “Bathing Suit Picture.” While you have undoubtedly seen this image before, you may not know the story behind it. The scantily clad and debatably crazy rider was a man by the name of Roland “Rollie” Free. The bike, often thought by many to be a Vincent Black Shadow, was in fact a Black Lightning – the fastest Vincent ever to see production.

Video: 180bhp N2O injected Vincent

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

The Greek God Epithemeus - the name of this three-wheeled, 180bhp Vincent record breaker - was the brother of Prometheus. Epithemeus (meaning afterthought) was the creator of many dangerous, ill thought-out beasts. Unlike his dilligent brother, Epithemeus was a bit of a f**kwit who threw everything at his powerful new animal creations with little thought of the consequences. A perfect name, then.
