2014-2015 Victory Models Recalled for Risk of Engine Seizure

Polaris Industries announced a recall on several 2014 Victory models and the 2015 Gunner because of a manufacturing error that may cause an engine to seize. The recall campaign affects 872 units in the U.S. In addition to the 2015 Victory Gunner, the recall affects the Boardwalk, Cross Country, Cross Country 8-Ball, Hammer 8-Ball, Jackpot, Judge, Ness Cross Country, Vegas 8-Ball and Vision from the 2014 model year.

Villopoto, Roczen Dominate AMA Supercross in Oakland

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto dominated the 450SX Class on Saturday night in front of a record crowd in Oakland, CA.   In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.

Hot off the trails of the Hard Ball’s release just last month, Victory Motorcycles is showing no signs of slowing down in 2012, as it’s set to debut yet another new model January 20 at the New York International Motorcycle Show. Details about the new machine are scarce, but if we were to guess judging on the graphic above we’d say it could be loosely based off the Vegas due to its conventional fork and lack of fairings.
