We had a treat last month at the AMA Pro Flat Track season finale, joining the packed grandstands in Pomona, California, for some thrilling dirt-track racing you can read about here. The action on the half-mile dirt oval was intense, with Kenny Coolbeth taking the checkers, but it was Jared Mees who won the championship after his eighth-place finish. eMotoRacing Race Report From Road America

The newly-formed eMotoRacing electric motorcycle racing series has just finished another round in its inaugural season, this time at the hugely popular Road America circuit in Wisconsin. The weather, which is known to be unpredictable in the area, luckily was perfect for the event, and crowds were estimated at 10,000 for the motorcycle festival weekend. The track’s hilly terrain creates a few blind spots, while the three long straightaways challenge racebikes as few courses anywhere can.
