Victory Kingpin description

2012 Victory Kingpin, The one-of-a-kind flared fender remains, keeping the signature design element of the Kingpin intact. But powering that is the newly developed Freedom V-Twin and 100k transmission that's adding new dimensions of power and performance to every Victory motorcycle this year. You'll speed down country highways and city boulevards with control and power that reminds you of why you started riding in the first place. You'll stand out among the crowd with a unique style and a ride performance that backs it up. There's nothing out there in the classic cruiser motorcycle market that compares to the combination of style and performance you get with a Kingpin. Find a Victory dealer near you today and follow your passion for the ride with a test drive on the 2012 Kingpin Classic Cruiser motorcycle.

Another New Victory Coming 1/20/12

Thu, 12 Jan 2012

Hot off the trails of the Hard Ball’s release just last month, Victory Motorcycles is showing no signs of slowing down in 2012, as it’s set to debut yet another new model January 20 at the New York International Motorcycle Show. Details about the new machine are scarce, but if we were to guess judging on the graphic above we’d say it could be loosely based off the Vegas due to its conventional fork and lack of fairings. What we do know from the graphic is that it will be powered by the tried and true 106 c.i.

This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.
