Victory Launches in Malaysia
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Polaris opened its first Victory Motorcycles dealership in Malaysia, bringing its large V-Twin cruisers and tourers to the Asian nation. The Naza Group is importing Victory to the country through its subsidiary Harmony Fabulous Sdn Bhd. The Naza Group also holds the Malaysian distribution rights for Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Indian, and the Piaggio brands Aprilia, Vespa and Gilera.
Polaris Reports Q2 2013 Results
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Polaris Industries reports a 11.8% increase in net sales and a 14.6% increase in profit over the quarter ended June 30, 2013. The company earned a record $80 million in profit in the quarter, compared to $69.8 million in the same quarter last year. Most of the gains however were from Polaris’ off-road vehicles, its GEM, Goupil and Aixam small vehicles and sales of parts, garments and accessories including Klim apparel.

It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
