Polaris Registers Design for Liquid-Cooled Victory

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Polaris Industries has registered a design patent with the European Union for what appears to be a new liquid-cooled Victory motorcycle. The overall aesthetic is very much a Victory, with stacked twin slash-cut exhausts and bobbed fenders similar to the Vegas 8-Ball.

The championship follows Kitsch’s win in the 2010 Sound of Thunder V-Twin Championship on the Erik Buell Racing racebike. While the Sound of Thunder championship was won against other V-Twin machines, the European Superbike class included sportbikes from the Japanese Big Four, BMW, Aprilia and Ducati.

While most of the tracks in the series are on simple ovals, there are two TT circuits on the schedule.
