Josh Herrin wasted no time in 2013 getting his first AMA Pro American Superbike victory after falling short on several occasions during his rookie Superbike campaign in 2012. He earned it at the very first race of the season at Daytona International Speedway. And he earned it while wearing a Bell Star Carbon helmet.  “Herrin stepped up to the Superbike class last year and immediately proved that he was a serious contender, surprising a few of his competitors along the way.” said Bell Sports Marketing Manager Patrick Houlihan.

Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Victory has teamed up with Roland Sands Design to completely declassify the Project 156, a hand-built race bike for the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The motorcycle is equipped with a liquid-cooled V-twin, powered by two 67-mm “chokes”, which are supplied with air through an air intake located in a false tank. The fuel tank is located under the engine.
