Another New Victory Coming 1/20/12
Thu, 12 Jan 2012Hot off the trails of the Hard Ball’s release just last month, Victory Motorcycles is showing no signs of slowing down in 2012, as it’s set to debut yet another new model January 20 at the New York International Motorcycle Show. Details about the new machine are scarce, but if we were to guess judging on the graphic above we’d say it could be loosely based off the Vegas due to its conventional fork and lack of fairings. WSBK: 2012 Miller Results
Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
