Triumph Trophy description

Very cool vintage MX or desert racer. Numbers matching on frame and motor. The mileage is a guess, just for the ad. There is no speedometer on the bike, because it is a TR6C. Also would make a great vinrage dirt tracker ( mile or half mile racer ). Has been sorted, and needs nothing to ride or race today. Has original western bars and sparkle grips, fenders, frame, wheels and motor. Matching numbers bike ( frame and motor ). Tank and seat are from a bonneville. Here is a list of upgrades;

This bike runs really strong and is very fast !
New Hagon rear shocks
Rebuilt forks with seals and oil
Fresh oil and tune up
Steering damper
Battery
Tires
Valve adjustment
Ignition switch w/key
Cleaned and adjusted Amal carb
Open pipes loud and breathes fire, have slip on super trap mufflers if you want them.

If you want a trailer queen, than this ain't it ! If you want an honest original and unrestored desert racer that runs really well, than this is a bike for you.

I have described this bike as honestly as I could. If you win this auction, then I strongly suggest you inspect the bike or have a representative do it for you. If you find that it is not as I have described, then I will refund your money. If your shipper picks it up, then the moment it leaves my driveway...it belongs to you. I will help and work with your shipper in any way that I can. Please ask any and all questions before you bid. My feedback speaks for how I conduct business. Honestly and fairly !
You can also call me at 760-703-2679 if you need to.
No warranty expressed or implied ! No returns, without an inspection done before or at pickup !

THERE IS NO TITLE ! BILL OF SALE ONLY !

Deposit of $500 by PayPal due within 48 hours. The balance is due by cash or wire transfer within 7 days.
Good luck,
Frank

2010 Triumph Speed Triple exhausts tested

Thu, 17 Jun 2010

Over the last month I’ve been busy trying out some of the exhausts available for the Speed Triple. Apart from being very easy to fit, they all claim power gains of around 8bhp and give substantial weight savings. It’s worth noting at this point that Triumph only recommend Arrow cans and discourage the fitting of slip on exhausts especially if they are not mapped to the bike.

A Triumph Bonneville Unlike Any Other

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

The Bucephalus is not just another “Old Meets New” custom. It’s a completely fresh idea from Loaded Gun Customs, builders of other wild machines, combining a 1967 Triumph Bonneville twin — an iconic engine in its own right — and surrounding it with state-of-the-art performance components. Basically, if motorcycle engines ceased production in 1967, this would be a modern day racebike.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
